What your school gets
- A ready-made program. Talks, a hands-on workshop and a careers panel, run by volunteers from the WordPress Manila community.
- A volunteer at every table. People who build WordPress sites for work sit with your students and get them unstuck.
- No fees. Students attend for free, and the WordPress Foundation’s global sponsorship program covers the event costs.
- Something to keep. Each student leaves with their own site, a certificate and a community they can message after.
What we ask from you
- A room for 30 to 60 students, with a projector, Wi-Fi and power outlets
- One contact person, either a faculty adviser or a student org officer
- Help inviting your students
- A Saturday morning or a half day that fits your school calendar
How it works
- 1 Message us. Tell us your school, your role and the month you have in mind.
- 2 Have a short call. We pick a date together, check the room and agree on who does what.
- 3 We apply. The organizers send the Campus Connect application to the WordPress community team at least six weeks before the date.
- 4 We promote it together. We set up the event site and registration, and send your student orgs posts they can share.
- 5 Event day. We bring the program, the speakers and the volunteers. You bring the students.
