Campus Connect Manila 2026 happens at Asia Pacific College in Makati. APC opens its campus to students for the morning, and the WordPress Manila community brings the program, the speakers and the volunteers.
How the partnership works
- The college hosts. APC provides the room and the setup, and invites its students to join.
- The community teaches. WordPress Manila plans the program, brings the speakers and puts a volunteer at every table during the workshop.
- Students pay nothing. Campus Connect is free, supported by the WordPress community and its global sponsors.
For APC students
You don’t need to know WordPress or how to code. Bring a laptop and you’ll leave with:
- A WordPress site you built yourself during the hands-on workshop
- A clearer picture of web careers, from people who work in them
- A way into open source and contributing to WordPress
- A certificate of participation
- Contacts in the WordPress Manila community you can message after
Why WordPress Manila
WordPress Philippines has eight official meetup chapters, more than 5,000 members on Meetup and over 12,000 in its Facebook group. The community has run workshops with schools around Metro Manila and helped bring WordCamp Asia to Manila in 2025.

Campus Connect can come to your campus too. A room, a contact person and a free Saturday morning are most of what it takes.
